Have you ever dreamed of being the person up on stage in front of the cameras with a microphone in hand, commentating on a match at a massive gaming event? If the answer is YES, then this may be right up your alley…
The team over here at DEVASTATION is always searching for ways to include members of the community at the event and, to that end, we are offering up the crown jewel of participation: the Live Broadcast. DEVASTATION’s weekend-long Live Broadcast is the stuff of legend; go ahead and ask about the most professionally produced and streamed broadcast in gaming events today. Sure, we might be a little biased but these are not the words from our mouths but from yours, the participants, so we can say them with more pride and less ego.
So why do we need guest commentators?
The answer is simple: because we want them. We love involving the community and giving you, the fans, the opportunity to share your game knowledge and talent with hundreds of thousands of viewers. Year after year we have proven that we are an organization that puts the community first and this is just another way for us to do just that. Besides, why wouldn’t we want to try and recruit talent from the community? If we do not try and better ourselves we never will…
At this point you are probably wondering “what is involved?” and, perhaps, “how do I get involved?”, well you are luck because we are going to tell you.
We are going to select several members for each game to participate in the broadcast both for back-up reasons (stuff happens, right?) as well as we may be able to develop some synergies between the various commentators. Guest commentators will sit along-side djWHEAT and the Live on Three crew and help commentate on matches, be involved with pre and post-game interviews, special events, and more. If you are selected for the team you will be on the hook to show up and be available for the broadcast… but we will cover those details when we get there; we imagine you would not nominate yourself if you did not want to actually come and take part but stranger things have happened. Know this: if you ask to be considered you are, in fact, committing to take part in the event so if you are not sure you can come it is best that you do not try out.
So, to be considered for the Guest Commentator Team here is what you need to do (requirements):
Remember, you can always register now, even as a free Guest, and go back and make changes to your selections at any time
